I bought these great training chopsticks for my boys about six months ago. Miles is now very adept at using them and somedays even wants to use them with his everyday food. Isaac does pretty well if I put his fingers in the correct places. I think they are a great product. They are made in Korea and I just found them at my local market. You can get them online also. I found them for $5 here http://www.kidslandusa.com/category/feeding/solid-feeding/accessories/edison-chopsticks-blue.php

So I have been working on this project for my blog, and I think I am finally ready to share with everyone. For the last month or so I have been trying to come up with a way that I can help make money for the adoption. I have decided to make handmade baby and toddler items to sell. I have contemplated selling them both on a blog or on etsy; and haven't really decided on an avenue yet. Any advice out there would be appreciated. I wanted to share one of the first items I created for this little adventure. I also made little hair clips to go with this outfit. So what do you think?
Well there have been rumors and rumblings of a move on the list. I have been trying to hold off calling AAC so as not to be "that family that calls all the time." A blog friend of mine posted that the list might even be moving two spots. Today I couldn't wait anymore I called and sure enough we are now #22. Two spots in one week! We are so excited.

I think we moved up on the adoption list. That means some lucky family found their little girl. Congrats to you whoever you are. And it means that we might have moved again. I sure hope so I will be calling AAC today so look for my domino's post a little later.
On another note my exciting new feature has been delayed a bit DH has been working crazy hours and I need some time to get it done. Let's just say that there are some amazing handmade baby and children's items involved.

I'm getting bored with my own blog; I think that means that something exciting needs to happen. I have a great idea! I am just waiting on the last few things to fall into place. I hope to have this new exciting, amazing, super, feature up by the end of next week!!!! In the mean time I wanted to give a little preview so try and guess what this has to do with my new blog feature.

We want your pennies... and nickels and dimes and quarters. So when we started this baby bottle fundraiser we just asked close friends and family to participate. When we got such an amazing response from those we invited we decided to expand and asked some other friends. Now we have decided to send it out into the blog world. I have met so many wonderful people and a few have expressed interest in helping us bring our little one home. Here is how it works. We send you a baby bottle (if you have one on hand you can use it also that saves us shipping); you just slip spare change or leftover cash into the bottle. When the bottle is full just switch the change and send the money to us. It has been amazing to see how fast it all adds up. If you want to participate please post a comment with your address if you would rather not do that e-mail me through blogger and we will send you a bottle. We are so grateful to those who are willing to help us raise funds for our little one. Abeni is one loved little girl!!!!
Thank you again.

Our more then generous friends and family have been blessing us with donations to the adoption fund. We are both so touched by this huge outpouring of love. Thank you to those who have so generously given to help us bring Abeni home!
Every year for the big football game my father makes a money pool chart and we all buy squares for .25, the total cash prize is $25. We all eagerly sit around trying to figure out who is going to win the money. This year my baby sister Havala won the money. She put the money in a bottle and handed it to Miles who handed it to me. Wow what a generous gift! Havala you have been such a blessing in the lives of my children; all five of us are so lucky to have an Aunt Havala. You babysit, you support, you spoil, you encourage, you settle, you giggle, you play and mostly you love my children. Thank you Havala and thank you for this wonderful gift.
